Lighthouse Camera Angles
This Birds Eye shot portrays the lighthouse from what it would look like if you were to be above, and looking down and at an angle, towards the lighthouse. Informal balance is created due to the amount of land in relation to the amount of water, and Unity is created from the dark, gloomy, gray colors.
This Close Up Shot portrays the "House" of the lighthouse, along with my monkey sculpture surveying the storm. There is Repetition with vertical lines created by the rain and supports and Informal balance crated by the hills in the background.
This Long/Establishing Shot is showing the relation between the lighthouse and the storm. Repetition is created once again by the vertical lines the rain creates, and Unity is created with the grays and blacks within this picture.
This Extreme Close Up Shot portrays more features of the monkey sculpture and the lighthouse. The shape of the monkey head is more defined and the textures of the lighthouse become more visible in the thick fog. There is Informal balance created by the hills and Unity created by the grays and blacks.
This Eye Level shot shows the upper portion of the lighthouse and the glimmer the light makes while it shines. Informal balance is strengthened by the lighthouse being slightly to the right and the hills ending abruptly. Unity and Repetition are created again by the grays and blacks and the slightly diagonal lines the rain creates.
This Medium Shot Portrays the middle and higher sections of the lighthouse. Informal balance is created by the lighthouse being on the left side of the portrait and the wave on the right side, Repetition is slightly created from the vertical and diagonal lines the rain creates.
This Over The Shoulder Shot portrays where the light from the lighthouse is shining at and the monkey looking out for any ships that may or may not be incoming. Informal balance is created because the lighthouse is on the left side of the picture and just land and water towards the right side, Unity is not as present in this photo because the light blues contrast the dark and gloomy grays and blacks.
This Point Of View (POV) Shot portrays what the lighthouse would see if it could. Shining out towards the water, showing if there are any coral reefs or rocks that would get in the way of any incoming or outgoing vessels. Informal balance in present because the spotlight is shining towards the left side of the picture. Unity is not as present, similar to the Over The Shoulder Shot, because the light blues are contrasting the dark blues and blacks the waves create.
This Worms Eye Shot shows the lighthouse from the perspective of someone approaching the lighthouse and looking at the light. The monkey is seen once again surveying the storm. There is Unity within the dark grays and blacks and Repetition is present with the diagonal and horizontal lines from the rain.
